Abstract

Electronic monitoring system for sports equipment and corresponding footwear and support element. Electronic monitoring system for sports equipment, comprising a support element for a foot, a piece of footwear (1 ) and some means for attaching footwear (1) to the support element. The attachment means comprise some means for establishing an attraction force between the support element and the footwear, which is transmitted through the inside of the perimeter of the sole of said footwear. The system comprises some electronic sensors (5) that measure the stress applied to the attachment means through the support element and the footwear. The signals are processed and they are used to monitor the stress applied and to release the attachment means when necessary. A safety system releases the footwear if stress values are reached that exceed a safety threshold.

Abstract

The invention relates to a stand-alone pneumatic system for controlling the connection between snowboards, skis and similar, consisting of a system for attaching boots to skis or a board, based on a suction vacuum. The invention includes a suction pump (5) provided with a push-button (6), a pressure controller including a Venturi valve (7), linking tubes (8) and boots (3), which tubes transmit the suction to suction cups (10) disposed on the sole of the boots (3) and/or on the surface of the skis (11). The skis (11) or board (12) and/or the boots (3) include a supporting area (13) for securing the suction cups. The system can also include a proactive system for releasing the ski or board using a signal-transmitting device which can be disposed, for example, on a glove, and a signal-receiving device which activates an electromechanism that releases the suction cup.
