Abstract

A method and a device for sustaining vibration by a means for effectively replenishing the damping of drive energy supplied by a power supply such as a battery, e.g. a dry battery or a solar battery. A storage battery or an electricity accumulation element such as a capacitor is charged with an electromotive force generated, in a power generation element constituted by employing a composite magnetic body, by an action of the magnetic field of a permanent magnet vibrating together with a pendulum under gravity. Based on the electromagnetic force of a pendulum drive circuit that has supplied the power supply energy, vibration of the pendulum is sustained while drive energy is replenished.
