Abstract

An electrical tool, in particular drill and chiselling hammer, including a drive shaft and two driven members. The drive shaft is operatively connectable with the driven members by a respective one of a pair of coupling sleeves. The coupling sleeves are actuatable by a rotatable and mechanical actuating element, in particular a mechanical rotary switch. The actuating element of the electrical tool includes transmission features or a transmission portion that is stationary with respect to the actuating element and which is contactable directly with the respective coupling sleeve for actuating the coupling sleeves.

Abstract

A power tool, such as a hammer drill and/or a chiseling hammer, includes a lubricated transmission arranged in a sealed transmission box. The transmission box is in fluid connection with the atmosphere via a venting channel. A sealing element is arranged in the venting channel. The sealing element cooperates with the venting channel to create a meandering pathway for air to pass through the venting channel so that leakage of lubricant between the sealing element and the venting channel is at least substantially prevented.

Abstract

A damper for mounting between a power tool, having an axis of vibration, and a handle. The damper includes a damping arrangement for damping impacts and a spacer. The spacer is dimensioned so that, when the damper is mounted to the power tool, a ratio of a first distance between the axis of vibration and the handle to a second distance between the axis of vibration and the damping arrangement is at least 2:1. Further, a handle having such a damper for a power tool, as well as the corresponding power tool having such a handle, are described.

Abstract

A spindle lock of a hand-held combination drill and chisel hammer has a gearbox housing and a countershaft rotatably supported in the gearbox housing about an axis of rotation. A locking plate is provided for selectively releasing and locking a rotational movement of the countershaft. Guide elements are disposed in the gearbox housing, wherein the locking plate is displaceably guided on the guide elements in the gearbox housing in a direction parallel to the axis of rotation of the countershaft. The guide elements have a guide rail arrangement wherein a part of the guide rail arrangement is provided on the gearbox housing and is integral with the gearbox housing.

Abstract

A portable hand-guided power tool has a housing and a handle having a first leg and a second leg, wherein the handle is secured by the first and second legs to the housing such that the handle is pivotably connected by the first leg to the housing and the second leg is connected to the housing such that a pivoting movement between the handle and the housing is possible. A pressure spring is disposed between the second leg and the housing. A first pressure member is disposed at the handle and a second pressure member is disposed at the housing. The pressure spring is held with pretension between the first and second pressure members. The first pressure member has at least one hook element and, without the handle being mounted on the housing, the first pressure member is positive-lockingly hooked to the housing by engaging a receptacle of the housing so as to form a hook connection.
