Partial heat treatment method in salt bath at low temperature
This invention relates to a surface heat treatment method in a salt bath at low temperature, suitable for partially hardening the surface of a workpiece through heat treatment, including plating the surface of a workpiece with a first metal layer; partially peeling the first metal layer; heat treating the workpiece at a temperature of 400 to 500° C. for a predetermined period of time; and totally peeling the first metal layer. Thereby, low-temperature heat treatment is effective at heat treating the workpiece while minimizing deterioration of corrosion resistance.
According to one aspect of the present invention, provided is a partially carburized heat treated stainless ferrule, wherein a first region has a first hardness, a second region has a second hardness, the first region comprises: a nitrogen layer in which the concentration of nitrogen is greater than that of carbon; and a carbon layer provided inside the nitrogen layer in which the concentration of carbon is greater than that of nitrogen, and the first hardness is greater than the second hardness. Through such partial heat treatment, the front portion of a region excluding a part to be heat treated is cured by heat treatment, thereby preventing a phenomenon in which rotational torque increases.
According to the present invention, provided is a partial heat treatment method using dual metal layers, as a partial heat treatment method for curing the surface of a product to be processed through heat treatment, comprising: a first step of plating a first metal layer on the surface of the product to be processed; a second step of plating a second metal layer on the surface of the first metal layer; a third step of exposing a part of the surface of the product to be processed by stripping a part of the first metal layer and the second metal layer; a fourth step of curing the exposed surface of the product to be processed by carrying out heat treatment for curing the surface of the product to be processed; and a fifth step of removing the first metal layer and the second metal layer remaining on the surface of the product to be processed.
According to one aspect of the present invention, provided is a low temperature salt bath heat treatment method, as a surface heat treatment method for partially curing the surface of a product to be processed through heat treatment, comprising: a plating step of plating a first metal layer on the surface of a product to be processed; a partial stripping step of partially stripping the first metal layer; a heat treatment step of heat treating the product to be processed at 400-500°C for a predetermined time; and a total stripping step of stripping the entire first metal layer. Therefore, heat treatment can be carried out while minimizing the deterioration of corrosion resistance through low temperature heat treatment.

Through such partial heat treatment, the front portion of a region excluding a part to be heat treated is cured by heat treatment, thereby preventing a phenomenon in which rotational torque increases.
This invention relates to a partially carbonitriding heat treated stainless steel ferrule, having a first region with a first hardness and a second region with a second hardness, wherein the first region includes a nitrogen layer having a nitrogen concentration higher than a carbon concentration, and a carbon layer formed under the nitrogen layer and having a carbon concentration higher than a nitrogen concentration, so that the first hardness is greater than the second hardness. Thereby, partial heat treatment is effective at preventing rotational torque of the region, except for the portion to be heat treated, from increasing due to the total hardening.
