Abstract

This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for wireless power transmission and reception. A wireless power transmission apparatus may include a primary coil that transmits power to a corresponding secondary coil in a wireless power reception apparatus. The wireless power transmission apparatus may configure characteristics of the wireless power transmission based on a load setting of a wireless power reception apparatus. The wireless power transmission apparatus may take into account a coupling factor and power transfer characteristics of the wireless power reception apparatus in determining a configuration of the wireless power transmission from the wireless power transmission apparatus to the wireless power reception apparatus. In some implementations, a change in wireless power transmission may occur based on a corresponding change in the load. For example, the change in wireless power transmission and the corresponding change in the load may occur in relation to a synchronization event.

Abstract

This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for wireless power transmission. A wireless power transmission apparatus may transmit multiple wireless power signals to a wireless power reception apparatus configured to combine the power from the multiple wireless power signals. The wireless power reception apparatus may provide a combined wireless power signal to a load such as a battery charger or electronic device. In some implementations, each set of primary coil and secondary coil may utilize low power wireless power signals (such as 15 Watts or less) in accordance with a wireless charging standard. By combining power from multiple low power wireless power signals, the wireless power reception apparatus may support higher power requirements of an electronic device. Multiple communication channels may be established between the wireless power transmission apparatus and the wireless power reception apparatus.

Abstract

A wireless power transceiver (WPT) device is disclosed. The WPT device includes an energy module and a magnetic interfacing unit comprising a transceiver coil. Further, the WPT device includes a controller configured to generate one of a first control signal and a second control signal based on at least one first parameter of the energy module and at least one second parameter of one of a plurality of external devices. Also, the WPT device includes a bi-directional driver configured to transmit at least one of a first AC signal and a second AC signal through the transceiver coil if the first control signal is received from the controller, and receive at least one of the first AC signal and the second AC signal if the second control signal is received from the controller.

Abstract

A signature that can be used to identify video content in a series of video frames is generated by first calculating the average and variance of picture elements in a low-resolution composite image that represents a temporal and spatial composite of the video content in the series of frames. The signature is generated by applying a hash function to values derived from the average and variance composite representations. The video content of a signal can be represented by a set of signatures that are generated for multiple series of frames within the signal. A set of signatures can provide reliable identifications despite intentional and unintentional modifications to the content.

Abstract

An apparatus for serving audiovisual content comprises a parser, a decompression module, a packaging module, and a transmission module. The parser is adapted to receive an image data file and separate the image data file into a first compressed image component and a second compressed image component. The decompression module is coupled to the parser and adapted to decompress the first compressed image component into an uncompressed image component. The packaging module is coupled to the decompression module and adapted to package the uncompressed image component into a data stream having plural data fields arranged in a format defined in accordance with an industry-accepted standard and the second compressed image component into unused ones of said plural data fields, for transmission over a data interface. The transmission module is coupled to the packaging module and adapted to transmit the data stream over the data interface.
