Abstract

A system and method for dispensing sprayable material such as paint and other liquefied products. The system includes a dispenser such as a marking stick or other commercially available dispenser. The dispenser is configured to accept a container housed inside a cartridge and filled with sprayable material. The sprayable material is sprayed through a valve and spray tip at one end of the cartridge. An electrically powered motor assembly is removably coupled to the cartridge. The motor is used to power a pump that is incorporated in the cartridge to draw the sprayable material from the container. The material is pumped from the container and delivered through a tube to a spray head. The pressure generated by the pump inside the container and the tube are sufficient to spray the product through the valve and spray tip when valve is opened.

Abstract

A stackable LED flare and system for use at night, in low light conditions or during the day where a lighted flare provides greater visibility. The flare comprises a multi-sided housing with a panel on each side and having a top and a base. It has a plurality of LEDs aligned in windows positioned in at least one of the panels. The flare includes a re-chargeable battery encased in the housing for powering the flare and a circuit for delivering power and operational control from the battery to the LEDs upon activation by a switch. A set of contacts positioned on the outside of the housing deliver a charge to the battery. The contacts are configured to allow multiple flares to be stacked and charged simultaneously. The system also includes a charging station that accommodates a stack of two or more flares during the charging operation.

Abstract

A system for dispensing sprayable material such as paint and other liquefied products. The system includes a dispenser designed to accept a flexible, crushable container filled with sprayable material and having a valve and spray tip at one end. The container is placed into an interior portion in the dispenser with the valve on the container secured in the housing of the dispenser. In operation, a pump action lever is activated causing a piston to slide lengthwise in the housing of the dispenser and exert force on the bottom of the container crushing it as it is emptied and forcing the sprayable material out through the valve and spray tip.

Abstract

A LED flare and system for use to provide greater visibility in any light conditions, particularly in low light. The flare comprises an elongated housing that is generally cylindrical with a flat side. It has a handle at one end and a plurality of LEDs positioned along the outer periphery. A switch located on the elongated housing operates the flare. The flare also includes a re-chargeable battery encased in the housing for powering the flare and a circuit for delivering power and operational control from the battery to the LEDs upon activation by the switch. A set of contacts positioned on the outside of the housing deliver a charge to the battery. The flare includes an attachment device for holding an external charger in place against the contacts during charging operation. An individual flare may be part of a system that also includes other flares and a carrying case with an integrated charger, one or more flare stands and charger accessories.
