Abstract
A hanging device comprises (a) a magnetizable member made fixable to a surface interest and (b) a magnetic member comprising a magnet sheet material adapted for temporarily magnetically attaching to the magnetizable member. The magnetic member is provided with an element configured for hanging or attaching the object of interest. The magnetic member is at least partially substantially flexible such that the magnetic member is adapted for bending so as to facilitate easy detachment of the magnetic member from the magnetizable member. The magnetic member is configurable into a first position characterized by flexible peelability from the magnetizable member in at least one direction and a second position characterized by stable attachment of the magnetic member to the magnetizable member such that a ratio between the detachment force in the first position and the detachment force in the second position is between approximately 1:1 and approximately 1:1000.
IPC Classes ?
- A47G 1/17 - Devices for hanging or supporting pictures, mirrors, or the like using adhesives, suction or magnetism
- F16M 13/02 - Other supports for positioning apparatus or articlesMeans for steadying hand-held apparatus or articles for supporting on, or attaching to, an object, e.g. tree, gate, window-frame, cycle
