Abstract

The present invention relates to an unpowered automatic flushing device for toilets, and more particularly, to a human body sensing unit and an unpowered automatic flushing device for a toilet using same, which delay the time taken for supply of air supplied from the human body sensing unit to a toilet flushing unit to prevent erroneous operation when a user sits on or leaves the toilet seat, and to provide the user with time for disposing of waste toilet paper after defecation or urination. To this end, the present invention comprises: one or more human body sensing units which contain air introduced by the weight of the user when the user sits on the toilet seat, and which permit the contained air to be supplied to a toilet flushing unit when the user leaves the toilet seat; and a toilet flushing unit which opens a siphon cover by means of a rod which elevates by the pressure of air supplied from the human body sensing unit to enable automatic toilet flushing. The human body sensing unit controls the restoring speed of a restoring member compressed by the weight of the user to delay the time taken for supplying air supplied to the toilet flushing unit.

Abstract

According to a powerless automatic flushing apparatus for a toilet of the present invention, a water channel is opened by the weight of a user sitting on a toilet seat and the presence of urine or feces of the user is detected depending on the movement length of a cylinder rod which is moved by the pressure of the water supplied to the opened water channel. When the user gets off the toilet seat, a seat cover moves down according to restoration of the cylinder rod and is attached to the top of the toilet seat to close it then an automatic flushing apparatus is operated, thereby discharging the cleaning water corresponding to the urine or feces. The present invention may prevent the toilet from freezing in winter through circulation of the water in a hydrant. The powerless automatic flushing apparatus for the toilet of the present invention prevents each component of the toilet from freezing by circulating the water supplied from a hydrant through internal components and discharging it. In addition, the toilet may be sanitarily used because the seat cover moves down and is attached to the top of the toilet main body to close the toilet main body, when the cylinder rod moved by the user’s weight returns to the original position, and in that way, contaminants containing urine or feces, which are bacteria, are blocked from being scattered or sprayed out of the toilet main body when cleaning the urine or feces.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a powerless automatic flushing device for a toilet. When a user uses a bidet while a cylinder rod is moved by the pressure of the water supplied through a water channel which is opened by the user's weight, the automatic flushing device shuts off the water supply to a human body-sensing unit and a water channel control unit and detects the presence of urine and feces depending on the movement length of the cylinder rod before the bidet is used at the same time, and then cleans the target by discharging water corresponding to the detected presence of urine or feces. According to the present invention, when determining whether there is urine or feces while the cylinder rod is moved by the pressure of the water supplied to the human body-sensing and water channel control units, the powerless automatic flushing device for a toilet determines the presence of urine or feces depending on the movement length of the cylinder rod before the bidet is used, and cleans the target by discharging cleaning water corresponding to the urine or feces. Therefore, cleaning water can be saved through preventing feces-cleaning water from being discharged when there is urine in the toilet.

Abstract

The invention relates to a water-channel control apparatus for supplying water without power to an automatic flushing device for a toilet using water pressure and user body weight. In particular, a water-channel control means opens and shuts the water-channel under the load of a toilet user sitting on the toilet seat so as to supply/cut off water from the faucet. Since no power supply is used, much power can be saved and environmental problems created by spent batteries can be solved. Moreover, there will be no more occasions when people feel uncomfortable at the sight of an unflushed toilet, but clean and neat restroom environments can be created by broad use of the invention.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a toilet seat equipped with a system that uses water pressure and the human body load to supply water to an automatic flushing device of the toilet without recourse to mains power, and it is characterized in that it comprises: a human body load sensing part that senses a person using the toilet by means of the load of the body sitting on the toilet seat; a water channel control part that opens and closes a water channel by means of the load of the person using the toilet as sensed by the human body load sensing part and supplies/terminates the supply of water from the water conduit; and a water supply part that operates by means of the pressure of the water supplied from the water channel control part and supplies water to the automatic flushing device. In this way, in not only toilets used with water tanks but also flush-valve toilets for use with mains water, just a simple alteration to the flow channel rather than a change to the mechanism ensures that, without recourse to mains power, water pressure and the human body load can be used to achieve automatic flushing of the toilet by means of water supplied through a water conduit and the pressure chamber of a flush valve. Consequently the present invention constitutes a product which is not only able to reduce electrical consumption by being powerless but also provides an environmental solution by its use of a dry cell and which can also have mass appeal by not giving feelings of unease to the toilet user who follows a toilet user who has used the toilet and failed to flush it, thereby providing a more sanitary lavatory environment.

Abstract

The present invention concerns a non-electric water passage control apparatus which supplies water to an automatic toilet flushing apparatus by using water pressure and human weight. It comprises a human-weight-sensing unit which senses the weight of a user who sits down on the toilet seat and a water passage control unit which supplies the water from a water pipe to a drainage unit or shuts it off. Since non-electric flushing of a toilet bowl is automatically performed by using water pressure and human weight, power consumption is reduced and any environmental contamination caused by used batteries is also alleviated. Additionally, automatic flushing of the disclosed water passage control apparatus cleans the toilet and makes the next user feel comfortable and has the potential to be popular.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a toilet seat equipped with a system that uses water pressure and the human body weight to supply water, without recourse to electrical power, in response to defecation/urination within an automatic flushing device of the toilet, characterized in that it comprises: a human body weight sensing part that senses a person using the toilet by the weight of the body sitting on the toilet seat; a water channel control part that opens and closes a water channel by the weight of the person using the toilet as sensed by the human body weight sensing part and supplies/terminates the supply of water from the water conduit; a defecation/urination water supply part that determines whether the person using the toilet has defecated or urinated in accordance with the distance of movement of a cylinder rod advanced by means of the pressure of water being supplied from the water channel control part, and supplies water to the automatic flushing device in such a way that the cleansing water which is discharged corresponds to the determined defecation/urination; and a check adjustment valve that effects adjustment in such a way that the cleansing water which is discharged corresponds to defecation/urination according to the speed and volume of the draining water when the water supplied by the defecation/urination water supply part passes through the water channel control part and drains into the toilet body. By determining the defecation/urination of the person using the toilet according to the time period over which the weight of the user is sensed and by ensuring that the toilet is automatically flushed without recourse to electrical power, the present invention constitutes a product which is not only able to conserve 30%-50% or more of water used at the time of urination, but is also able to reduce electrical consumption and provide a good environmental solution, while also having potential for mass appeal by avoiding discomfort to a subsequent user when a previous user fails to flush, thereby providing a more sanitary lavatory environment.

Abstract

The present invention provides a toilet seat having a non-powered apparatus for automatically flushing a toilet using water pressure and body weight and a method for controlling the toilet seat. The toilet seat includes a weight sensor and water passage control unit (300) which senses a body weight and controls discharge of water, supplied through a pipe, depending on the turning on/off of a control valve, and a check valve unit (400) which controls the amount of water passing through a water passage from the control valve of the unit (300) depending on water pressure and displacement of the toilet. The toilet seat further includes a cylinder actuating unit (500) which is operated by pressure of water supplied from the weight sensor and water passage control unit (300) when the body weight is detected by the unit (300), thus automatically supplying water to the automatic flushing apparatus.
