Abstract

A dog bark control device which includes a first sensor, a second sensor, a stimulation applying means, and a control unit. The control unit determines whether the animal barks, and when the animal is determined to bark, operates the stimulation applying means to apply stimulation to the animal. The control unit determines that the animal barks when the first sensing signal of the first sensor is a signal indicating that the animal barks, and at the same time, the animal is determined to make a particular motion accompanied by barking from the second sensing signal of the second sensor.

Abstract

A transmitter sends a radio signal defining the boundary of an area, and at least one receiver worn on the animal includes stimulation applying means to apply stimulation to the animal. The receiver senses the radio signal sent from the transmitter and applies stimulation to the animal when the animal is determined to access the boundary of the particular area based on whether the radio signal is sensed or not. The transmitter and the receiver are configured to set a value of at least one of a stimulation intensity, a stimulation type, a stimulation applying mode to apply and an animal size, according to an animal wearing the receiver, via a direct interface between the transmitter and the receiver, not via the radio signal.

Abstract

A system and method for preventing an animal being managed by a human from approaching a certain area using image recognition technology includes an apparatus put on the animal, and a marker having either a preset color or a preset shape or both and installed in the certain area. The apparatus put on the animal includes a camera to capture a ground surface image of a movement path of the animal, a stimulus applicator to apply a stimulus to the animal, a memory to store an image of the marker, and a control unit, and operates the stimulus applicator to apply a stimulus to the animal when an image matched with the image of the marker stored in the memory is recognized in the image captured by the camera as the animal moves.

Abstract

An animal training device and system which uses a voltage to frequency conversion technology (VFC) providing the capability to adjust in gradual incremental levels upward and downward for consistent and individual electronic control of separate output to an animal undergoing training to learn new behaviors which are desired by its owner/handler/trainer. The device is contained in a housing which is worn around the neck of an animal by means of a collar strap or attached to a harness that properly fits onto an animal. The primary use is with dogs, but all kinds of domestic animals may be trained using this device. This VFC technology is offered in a variety of electronic platforms. Whether one-way or two-way remote controller with manual activation by the user, automatic activation by remote sensor detectors, or automatically activated by an on-board microprocessor circuitry sensing the animals own actions, either or all device outputs allow the animal's caretaker the unique capability to select an appropriate level of one of a variety of cue signals at a given moment allowing the animal not to be overwhelmed or to cause any over-reactions.
