Abstract

The present invention relates to an automobile rear camera wherein a transparent cover member, which is mounted on the front surface of a camera casing member, is divided into a first transparent cover body and a second transparent cover body for a camera module and a light-emitting body, respectively, and the first transparent cover body and the second transparent cover body are arranged to have a height difference such that diffusion reflection, which is reflection of light from the light-emitting body by the transparent cover body, and which is followed by introduction of the light into the camera module, during nighttime photography is prevented, thereby providing clear image quality at night, improving image quality during low-luminance nighttime traveling, and substantially improving safety during nighttime driving.

Abstract

Disclosed is a monitoring camera apparatus having both a pan/tilt function and a shutter function that has a simple and compact structure and is easily waterproofed. The monitoring camera apparatus having both a pan/tilt function and a shutter function, includes a camera unit and a motor driving unit that are separately prepared so as to reinforce a waterproof function. The camera unit has a spherical structure so as to achieve both the pan or tilt function and the shutter function, and is rotated by engaging a rack gear, formed on the outer surface thereof in the rotational direction, with a pinion gear of the motor driving unit. An external case assembly, the front part of which is opened, is provided. Thereby, the monitoring camera apparatus performs the pan or tilt function when the spherical camera unit is rotated in a designated angle range, and the monitoring camera apparatus performs the shutter function due to the shielding of a window of a camera lens unit by the external case assembly when the spherical camera unit is rotated beyond the designated angle range.
