METHOD FOR MAKING A BALL OF THREAD-LIKE TEXTILE MATERIAL AND A BALL MADE IN THIS WAY
Described is a method for making a ball 1 of thread-like textile material 4, and the ball thereby made, having a first end 3 and a second end 5. The method comprises the following steps: fixing in a removable fashion the first end 3 of the thread-like textile material 4 to a fixing portion of a ball winding machine, performing the ball winding operations so as to create a ball 1 of the textile material 4, preparing at least one device 3 for collecting and maintaining the ball 1, fixing at least the first end 3 of the thread-like textile material 4 to an attaching portion 6 of the at least one collecting device 2, extracting the ball 1 from the ball winding machine.
Device (1) for treating a yarn, comprising a main body (2) axially crossed by a treatment chamber (3) inside which the yarn (F) slides; at least a first side channel (4) in fluid communication with the treatment chamber (3) for the introduction of at least one substance for treating the yarn (F) and at least a second side channel (5) in fluid communication with said chamber (3) for the introduction of compressed air. The method of treating the yarn provides for the application within the device (1) and under a controlled vacuum condition of one or more substances onto a yarn through a continuous treatment able to controllably apply such substances on the yarn by subsequently introducing the same yarn directly into a heat-stabilization apparatus located outside the device (1) and having the function of fixing the substances on the same yarn.
