Abstract
The present invention relates to a bar (10) for kite surfing, wherein the bar (10) has a system for trimming a kite (100) that can be connected to the bar (10) via a left control line (1), which can be controlled using a left end of the bar (10), and via a right control line (4), which can be controlled using a right end of the bar (10), wherein within the bar (10) a winding element (15), which can be activated from the left or right end of the bar (10), is arranged for the synchronous winding and unwinding of a respective trim portion of the left control line (1) and of the right control line (4), wherein the winding element (15) is mounted movably in the bar (10) such that on activation it rotates within the bar (10) and moves axially such that the respective trim portion of the left control line (1) and of the right control line (4) is wound onto the winding element (15) with a winding diameter that remains constant over its length.
