The centrifugal casting apparatus comprises: a lower half-mould (10) mounted on a sup- port (12) provided with driving means for rotation about a substantially vertical central axis (14), the lower half-mould (10) being a solid of revolution having a first central cavity (36); an upper half-mould (16) facing the lower half-mould (10), the upper half-mould (16) being a solid of revolution having a second central cavity (56); and means for causing the axial movement of the half-moulds (10, 16) towards and away from each other. The lower half-mould (10) and the upper half-mould (16) each have at least one passage (46, 66) which puts the respective central cavity (36, 56) into communication with the outside through an outlet aperture through which the central axis (14) does not pass.

STATOR OF AN ELECTRIC MOTOR AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING IT
The stator is formed by a pack (10) of stacked magnetic laminations (12), each of which has a central opening (14) and a plurality of peripheral holes (18), in such a way that the overlapping of identically shaped holes (18) in the laminations (12) defines respective passages through the pack (10). The faces of the laminations (12) are substantially flat and retaining means are associated with the holes (18) in an end lamination (12a) of the pack (10), these means protruding into the openings of the respective holes (18) in the end lamination (12a) without interfering with the other laminations (12) of the pack (10). The corresponding production process provides for: inserting a pin (22) into each of the passages through the pack (10) at the end of which the retaining means are located, these means retaining the pin (22) and keeping the pack (10) close-packed; subjecting the close-packed pack (10) to heat treatment; releasing the pins (22) from the grip of the retaining means; and extracting them from the corresponding passages.

METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING ELECTRIC POWER SUPPLY CABLES ON A STATOR
The method relates to the assembly of electric power supply cables (10) on a stator (12) of an electric motor, formed by a pack (14) of magnetic laminations and at least one winding of bundles of electrically conductive wires (16), which is housed inside cavities (18) formed in the pack (14) and has at least one head (20) projecting from the pack (14). The method comprises the steps of: electrically connecting an end (22) of each cable (10) to an end (23) of at least one respective wire (16) of the winding; inserting each pair of connected ends (22, 23) into a respective small tube (28) of a protection and positioning element (24) made of insulating plastic and having a strip (26) from which a number small tubes (28) at least corresponding to the number of electric power supply cables (10) transversally protrudes; clamping each small tube (28) so as to fix it to the pair of ends (22, 23) inserted inside it; inserting an end of the strip (26) inside a cavity (18) of the pack (14), so that the small tubes (28) are located within the head (20); and tying the winding in the region of the head (20) so as to enclose the small tubes (28).
