Abstract
A double airfoil mounted on a structure controlled angularly around a generally vertical axis. The double airfoil includes a fore flap and an aft flap at least one of which has a fore-to-aft asymmetry. Each flap includes a series of shape members distributed in height, wherein the structure includes a fore mast and an aft mast connected by a boom member and a gaff member. The shape members of the fore flap are traversed by the fore mast while being able to turn around an axis defined thereby, while the shape members of the aft flap are traversed by the aft mast while being able to turn around an axis defined thereby. The aft mast is twistable, the shape members of the aft flap are rotationally locked to the aft mast, and the controller can act on the bottom and the top of the aft mast.

Abstract
A ship comprises at least one sail propulsion unit (100) extending in a generally vertical direction in a position of use and comprising one or more propulsion elements (111, 112) and a mast (121). According to the invention, the structure of the ship intrinsically comprises transverse structural elements (T; 300) defining at least in part at least one respective cavity, while the ship comprises at least one sail propulsion unit (100) situated generally above a cavity. The ship additionally comprises a support (210) for the sail propulsion unit, the support being movable in a generally vertical direction within the cavity (CA), and drive means for selectively moving the support between a raised position of use and a retracted position of stowage.

Abstract
The invention relates to a vessel comprising a wind propulsion unit (100) that is elongate in a vertical direction when in the operating position comprising propulsive elements (111, 112) and a mast (121). The invention relates to a tilt device comprising a base (210) that is rigidly attached to a proximal region of the mast (121) of a unit, which tilt device rotates on a horizontal main axis (A) on a support (220) attached to a deck of the vessel, a tilt control device (216, 217) causing the base to rotate relative to the support, which tilt control device comprises a first actuator (217) capable of generating a linear force in a horizontal direction and a return element (216) connecting the actuator to the base (210) in order to exert a force on the base in a first region (218) located at a distance from the main axis, and a locking device (300) for locking the base (210) to the support element (220), which locking device comprises a second actuator (310) that is capable of exerting, in a second region (215) of the base (218), a retaining force in the vertical direction. The wind propulsion unit (100) can be moved, by virtue of the one or more first actuators (217), between an inactive position, in which it extends along the deck of the vessel and an erect position, the locking device (300) being capable of contributing to holding the unit in its active position.

Abstract
The invention relates to a wind propulsion unit comprising a dual wingsail mounted on a structure that is angularly controlled about a generally vertical axis depending on the conditions, the dual wingsail comprising a front flap (100), a rear flap (200) and a supporting structure (300) that allows the front flap and the rear flap to pivot about two axes that are generally parallel and spaced apart from one another, the unit also comprising a device for controlling the orientation of the rear flap according to the direction of incidence of the wind during propulsion. According to the invention, the device for controlling the orientation of the rear flap is also configured to bring the rear flap (200), when the wind propulsion unit is in an inactive position, into a folded orientation in which a substantial portion of its cross-sectional extent is positioned along a substantial portion of the cross-sectional extent of the front flap (100).
