Abstract

The invention provides a complex made up of consecutively stacked flat sheets configured for forming a package in a single run, wherein said complex comprises: at least a first die cut flat sheet configured for being folded and forming a wall of the package, comprising a continuous first rim demarcated by an outer contour and an inner contour, wherein said inner contour comprises a first portion and the outer contour comprises a second portion, wherein at least a first main flap extends along the first portion of the inner contour in the direction opposite the second portion of the outer contour; and an assembly comprising at least one additional flat sheet, wherein the perimeter of the at least one additional flat sheet is demarcated by the first rim of the first flat sheet. The invention furthermore provides a method for obtaining the complex, a method for manufacturing a package, and a method for packaging an item.

Abstract

The present invention relates to the use of a recombinant protein as a cancer growth inhibitor, specifically to the use of the recombinant prohibitin UCA01, which is a protein that immerses the cell in a period of miotic inactivity in the case of cancer cells. In this way, the protein prevents cancer growth and the onset of same. UCA01 prevents the onset of cancer, owing to three factors: its antioxidant capacity; increased p53 protein activity; and protection of the mitochondria against degradation. Specifically, the invention shows, for the first time, the biological activity of the recombinant protein UCA01, extracted from microalgae (Nannochloropsis gaditana). Before this invention, wild UCA01 protein was initially classified as a hypothetical protein in the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) (accession: XM_005854224.1).

Abstract

The present invention relates to a dispensing container for viscous products comprising a containing body (1) with a flexible side wall (1.1), a bottom wall (1.2) and a neck (1.3); an elastic bag (2) suitable for containing a viscous product (9) and arranged inside the containing body (1), and a closure head (4) of the containing body (1) comprising a supply hole (8) for supplying the product (9) with a product outlet valve (8.1), said valve preventing the entrance of outer air into the container. The bag (2) is elastic and is attached by its opening to the area of the neck (1.3) of the containing body (1), forming a first leak-tight chamber (5) between the outer face of said elastic bag(2) and the side wall (1.1)of the containing body (1). The head (4) and the elastic bag (2) form a second leak-tight chamber (6). The containing body (1) comprises a hole (10) with an air inlet valve (10.1) suitable for allowing air flow only from outside the dispensing container towards the inside of the leak-tight chamber (5) in response to a depression in said first chamber (5).
