Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for the machine-based determination of the functional state of support rollers (13) of a belt conveyor system (1) during operation of the belt conveyor system, wherein at least one unmanned vehicle (2) with at least one imaging sensor system is provided, by means of which at least sections of the belt conveyor system can be sensed in the form of image data, wherein image data of at least one subregion of the belt conveyor system is captured as thermal image data. In the captured image data of the belt conveyor system, at least one identification image region position is determined automatically, in which at least one subregion of a support roller (13) is imaged. For each identification image region position determined from the image data, an analysis image region position is automatically defined in the thermal image data. In each defined analysis image region position, thermal image data is automatically analyzed and the functional state of support rollers (13) is determined. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a method for the identification of functionally impaired support rollers (13), a computer program configured to carry out these methods, a machine-readable data carrier containing such a computer program, and a device with a data processing device (3) for the evaluation of the captured image data.

Abstract

A system and method for material handling includes a first portable conveyor for feeding material to a mobile bridge conveyor for the material to be stacked via a stacker until a discharge end of the mobile bridge conveyor is at or within a predetermined distance of a discharge end of the first portable conveyor. The first portable conveyor moves away from the mobile bridge conveyor after the discharge end of mobile bridge conveyor is at or within the predetermined distance of the discharge end of the first portable conveyor. A second portable conveyor that feeds material to the first portable conveyor rotates such that a discharge end of the second portable conveyor is moved towards the mobile bridge conveyor until reaching a feeding position for feeding material to the mobile bridge.

Abstract

A conveyor apparatus includes a first conveyor apparatus and a second conveyor apparatus. The first conveyor apparatus is positionable adjacent to a feed conveying device. The first conveyor apparatus is configured to pivot about a position adjacent to the feed conveyor device or move laterally adjacent to the feed conveyor. The second conveyor apparatus is configured to move such that the second conveyor apparatus maintains a position substantially parallel to the first conveyor apparatus when the first conveyor apparatus moves or pivots. In some embodiments, the second conveyor apparatus may also be configured to move along a path so that the second conveyor apparatus is extendable beyond an end of the first conveyor apparatus. The path may be a linear path and may be substantially parallel to the length of the first conveyor apparatus such as a path that extends in a direction that is a few degrees off of being perfectly parallel.

Abstract

A mobile crushing station for receiving and comminuting excavated material from earth moving vehicles provides at least one moveable skip connected to a chassis or frame for receiving material from vehicles, such as rear unloading vehicles like dump trucks. The skips are configured to move to dump material fed into the skips into a feed hopper. The feed hopper is positioned to guide material onto a feed conveyor, such as an inclined apron conveyor. The feed conveyor is configured to transport material to a feed orifice of a crushing device, such as a sizer, a crusher, or a crushing circuit. The crushing device is configured to crush material fed into the crushing device. The crushing device also has a discharge orifice that is positioned above a portion of a discharge conveyor. The mobile crushing station is moveable so it may be repositioned closer to an excavation site as excavation activities progress.
