The present invention pertains to a method to produce a tufted carpet, comprising tufting yarns into a primary backing thereby forming an intermediate product, and mechanically fixing the yarns to the backing by applying a binding constitution to the back of the carpet, wherein the binding constitution used is a thixotropic constitution comprising a cross linkable plant oil and a curing agent, the method comprising applying the thixotropic constitution as a layer to the back of the intermediate product and activating the curing agent to induce cross-linking of the plant oil.

Method to Wash Greasy Wool, A Method to Separate Lanolin from the Said Greasy Wool, Wool and Lanolin Obtainable by These Methods
A method to wash wool containing lanolin and impurities includes the steps of providing a volume of an aqueous liquid at a temperature below a melting temperature of the lanolin, soaking the wool in the volume of the liquid, creating air bubbles in the liquid and allowing the air bubbles to pass through the wool to attach the impurities, removing the air bubbles and attached impurities from the volume, and separating lanolin from wool containing lanolin and impurities, along with the wool and lanolin obtainable by this method.
The present invention pertains to a method to wash wool containing lanolin and impurities comprising providing a volume of an aqueous liquid at a temperature below a melting temperature of the lanolin, soaking the wool in the volume of the liquid, creating air bubbles in the liquid and allowing the air bubbles to pass through the wool to attach the impurities, and removing the air bubbles and attached impurities from the said volume. The invention also pertains to a method to separate lanolin from wool containing lanolin and impurities and to wool and lanolin obtainable by these methods.
The present invention pertains to a method for providing a textile product comprising providing yarns, contacting the yarns with a support material to form an intermediate product and bonding the yarns to the support material to form the textile product, wherein the bonding takes place by providing a reactive nucleus precursor at a site where the yarns contact the support material, and converting the precursor into a compound having multiple reactive nuclei in the presence of a compound having multiple nucleophilic groups. The invention also pertains to a textile product obtainable by the said method, uses of that product and lignin for use in producing such a textile product.
