Abstract

The present invention relates to a compound in which a nitric oxide scavenger is conjugated to a low-molecular-weight compound having pharmaceutical activity, and a nitric oxide-sensitive pharmaceutical composition comprising same. The compound is designed such that a nitrogen monoxide scavenger is separated while removing nitrogen monoxide only in a diseased region such as an inflammatory region having a high concentration of nitrogen monoxide, with the concomitant impartment of pharmaceutical activity to the low-molecular-weight compound in an inactivated state. The compound is activated only at the disease site, thereby minimizing side effects of existing medicines and simultaneously securing the pharmaceutical activity effect of the low molecular weight compound and the effect of removing nitrogen monoxide, and thus can be used for preventing or treating diseases accompanied by nitrogen monoxide generation.

The hyperentanglement of the plurality of qubits is in at least two dimensions, including a first dimension and a second dimension. The instructions, when executed, further cause the quantum system to transmit the hyperentangled plurality of qubits via a communication channel; perform a communication of the signal with the first dimension of the at least two dimensions; and filter results of the communicated signal based on the second dimension of the at least two dimensions.

Abstract

Disclosed are an integrate-and-fire neuron circuit implemented to enable an integrate-and-fire operation with only a small number of devices by using bistable resistance characteristics of the same two heterojunction NPN devices, unlike a CMOS-based integrate-and-fire neuron circuit having a complex structure, and an operation method thereof. In one or more aspects, an integrate-and-fire neuron circuit and an operation method thereof can increase neuron integration in a system by implementing an integrate-and-fire operation of neurons using only three transistors and two capacitors, or two transistors, one resistor and one capacitor, can improve the efficiency of spiking neural network learning by controlling a fire threshold point of neurons through regulation of a gate voltage of the same two NPN devices, and can expect an increase in energy efficiency of the entire system through inhibition of excessive fire by implementing excitatory and inhibitory post-synaptic potentials.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a novel metabolic pathway for producing itaconic acid and a recombinant microorganism, for producing itaconic acid, into which the metabolic pathway is introduced. It has been confirmed that the recombinant microorganism, for producing itaconic acid, into which the novel itaconic acid metabolic pathway is introduced, according to the present invention, significantly increases the production and yield of itaconic acid. In addition, as the recombinant microorganism for producing itaconic acid of the present invention uses an intermediate material of glycolysis rather than an intermediate material of the TCA cycle, the recombinant microorganism can further increase the production yield of itaconic acid through further improvement. Accordingly, the novel metabolic pathway for producing itaconic acid and the recombinant microorganism into which the metabolic pathway is introduced can increase the economic feasibility of itaconic acid, and thus can be variously used in industrial fields for synthetic resins, latexes, food additives, and the like in which itaconic acid is utilized.
