Abstract
A valve assembly (1000) is provided. The valve assembly (1000) comprises a valve housing (100) comprising a first liquid opening (20), a second liquid opening (40), a third liquid opening (60), a valve bore (80) having a cylindrical geometry having an axial extension (A1), the valve bore (80) merging with the first liquid opening (20) at a first merge (82), the second liquid opening (40) at a second merge (84), and the third liquid opening (60) at a third merge (86). The valve assembly (1000) further comprises a plunger (200) having a cylindrical geometry, the plunger (200) being disposed within the valve bore (80), and being movable along the axial extension (A1) of the valve bore (80) between a first plunger position and a second plunger position, wherein the first merge (82) is closed for a liquid to flow between the valve bore (80) and the first liquid opening (20) while the plunger (200) is situated in the first plunger position, and wherein the second merge (84) is closed for a liquid to flow between the valve bore (80) and the second liquid opening (40) while the plunger is situated in the second plunger position. An interior valve bore wall section (10a,10b) of the valve bore has, on a radially opposing side of a specific merge of the first (82) and the second merge (84), a surface geometry complementary to an outer surface geometry of the plunger, thereby radially securing the plunger in the valve bore. The valve bore (80) further comprises at least one of a first recess (81) extending radially from the valve bore (80) into the first liquid opening (20), the first recess (81) thereby merging with the first merge (82), and a second recess (83) extending radially from the valve bore (80) into the second liquid opening (40), the second recess (83) thereby merging with the second merge (84).

Abstract
A valve for an indoor temperature regulating system, includes a fixed valve housing having at least six valve connections and a valve selector for switching between providing a circulating flow from a first fluid source and a second fluid source thereby enabling fluid of different temperatures to a treatment unit. The valve selector includes a disc plate provided with openings and the valve main body is provided with valve openings connected via channels to the valve connections The valve selector and valve main body are slideable against each other. In the first mode valve openings are in register with lower disc plate openings such that two flow paths connecting the first fluid source with the treatment unit are enabled and in the second mode valve openings are in register with lower disc plate openings such that two flow paths connecting the first fluid source with the treatment unit are enabled.

Abstract
Thermostatic mixing valve having a portion 4 (eg cup) of the housing for holding a spring for biasing a flow control assembly controlling the flows of hot and cold water. The valve has a bypass opening in the portion, a bypass closure member and a holding device (eg spring) for holding the bypass closure member so as to close the bypass opening. If the pressure by the cold water onto the closure member becomes higher than the force of the holding device (eg because of a failure of hot water supply, which would reduce the pressure in the mixing chamber), the bypass closure member opens the bypass opening and cold water is allowed to the mixing chamber and to the outlet. Advantage: cold water is provided in case of failure of the hot water supply.
