The support layer has a first thickness (31), following on from the decorative layer, which has a greater density than that of a second thickness (32) between the first thickness and the barrier membrane. The support layer is provided with a reinforcement structure (8) made of meshes or a fabric and located within the second thickness of the support layer. The invention also relates to a system comprising the covering plate.

Abstract

The invention relates to a covering plate (1) comprising a decorative layer (2), a support layer (3) and a self-adhesive layer (4) of foam material with an outer surface provided with an adhesive (5) intended to be glued on a surface to be covered, the self-adhesive layer (4) being provided with a plurality of perforations (6). The plate is characterised in that the foam material has a density greater than or equal to 50 kg/m3. Preferably, the perforations (6) have an oblong outline on the outer surface of the self-adhesive layer. The perforations (6) have a staggered distribution across the entire surface of the plate. The covering plate can be attached to a horizontal surface and removed from same without leaving any residue. To cover vertical surfaces, the perforations are filled with an acrylic-based glue.
