Abstract

A grinding machine includes a working grinder and a holding unit. The working grinder includes a grinding wheel mounting section and a power mechanism. A grinding wheel is mounted on the grinding wheel mounting section. The holding unit includes a base, a movable seat, a holding device, and a grinding wheel trimming module. The grinding wheel trimming module includes a transmission shaft box, a motor, a holding claw, and a clamping cylinder. The holding claw is used for holding a trimming grinding wheel. The holding unit further includes a pedestal, and a clamping arm. The clamping arm is provided with a holding end. Thus, the holding end grips and moves the trimming grinding wheel to the holding claw which is driven by the clamping cylinder to clamp the trimming grinding wheel. Then, the holding end releases the trimming grinding wheel.

Abstract

A grinding machine includes a plane grinding mechanism carrying a workpiece, an electrically controlled device mounted on the plane grinding mechanism, a grinder unit rotatably mounted on the plane grinding mechanism to grind the workpiece, and a smart working control system mounted on the plane grinding mechanism and electrically coupled to the electrically controlled device. The smart working control system includes a smart coder and a smart driver. When a load and a cutting force produced between the grinder unit and the workpiece reach preset parameters during the grinding process, the smart driver executes the working sequence or parameter setting program edited by the smart coder, to shorten a movement distance of the workbench of the plane grinding mechanism along the X-axis (leftward and rightward), and to produce an optimum lapping path.

The grinding machine control method includes the step of providing a plurality of sub processing procedures each dominating a grinding machine to execute a respective processing step, the step of providing a processing scheduling processing to link the sub processing procedures into a main processing procedure, and the step of executing the main processing procedure to enable the grinding machine to run subject to the processing steps executed by the respective sub processing procedures.
