Abstract

An apparatus and method for retaining heat in extremities are provided that includes, a foot warmer for warming feet; the warmer including an opening and a volume operable to substantially surround two feet of a user and formed, at least partially, with an inner layer that includes a soft fabric material for contacting the feet, and a radiant barrier layer may be positioned at least partially surrounding the volume; and a clasp, coupling, strap or the like may be provided at, near or adjacent the opening to provide at least some closure of the opening around a user's legs to retain additional heat.
