Abstract

A material separation device comprises a placement component, a blower, a suction component, a suction pad driver, and a controller. The blower blows air at a plurality of aluminum sheets that have been stacked on the placement component to float an uppermost aluminum sheet. The suction component uses suction pads to chuck and hold the uppermost aluminum sheet from above while the air is being blown. The suction pad driver drives the suction component up and down, using servomotors as a drive source. The controller performs control so that the suction pads chucking the aluminum sheet are raised to a temporary stopping position by the suction pad driver, and the suction pads are stopped for a predetermined length of time at the temporary stopping position while the air is stopped, and the suction pads are then raised by the suction pad drivers to a conveyance position.

Abstract

A material separation apparatus (1) is equipped with a mounting unit (2), a blow unit (3), a suction unit (4), a suction pad drive unit (5), and a control unit (10). The blow unit (3) blows air on a plurality of aluminum sheets (11) mounted on the mounting unit (2) and suspends the uppermost aluminum sheet (11) in the air. The suction unit (4) sucks and maintains the uppermost aluminum sheet (11) with the air blown thereon from above using suction pads (411). The suction pad drive unit (5), with servomotors (50) as a drive source, vertically drives the suction unit (4). The control unit (10) implements control in such a manner that the suction pads (411) sucking the aluminum sheet (11) are raised to a temporary stopping position (h1) by the suction pad drive unit (5), and stopped at the temporary stopping position (h1) for a predetermined time while the air is stopped, and then raised to a carrying position (h2) by the suction pad drive unit (5).

Abstract

A device for producing solid fuel includes: a mixture generation means that generates a mixture of combustible waste containing water and a dehydration treatment agent that promotes removal of the water; a tubular rotatable mixture containing means that contains the mixture in an internal space thereof; an intake means that introduces outside air into the mixture containing means; an exhaust means that discharges exhaust air from the mixture containing means to the outside; a drive means that rotates the mixture containing means; a control means that controls the drive means; and a fracturing means that fractures the mixture contained in the mixture containing means. The dehydration treatment agent is a treatment agent that includes an emulsion containing a synthetic resin. The fracturing means is disposed on an inner peripheral wall of the mixture containing means and is formed so as to sweep up the mixture to the top of the internal space and to allow the mixture to fall freely from the top to the bottom of the internal space by the rotational movement of the mixture containing means.
