Abstract

The present invention provides a frame structure of a portable chair, which can be conveniently used while being coupled to a chair seat for outdoor activities, such as camping, hiking, fishing, outdoor concerts, sports events, etc., the frame structure comprising: a central hub that includes a plate-shaped support, an upper body that has a plurality of upper connection tubes radially formed on the upper portion of the support, and a lower body that has a plurality of lower connection tubes radially formed on the lower portion of the support; a plurality of lower short frames that are detachably connected to the lower connection tubes and have resilient cords therein and bottom portions formed on the lower ends thereof, which make contact with the ground; a plurality of upper short frames that are detachably connected to the upper connection tubes and have resilient cords therein, wherein insertion portions formed on the upper ends thereof are inserted into the corners of the seat part of the chair seat; and a plurality of upper long frames that are detachably connected to the upper connection tubes and have bent portions formed in the middle thereof and resilient cords therein, wherein insertion portions formed on the upper ends thereof are inserted into the corners of the back support of the chair seat.

Abstract

The present invention provides a frame structure, for a utility chair, which can be coupled to a seat and be conveniently used for outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, fishing, outdoor concerts, sporting events and the like. The frame structure comprises: a pair of lower frames of which the central parts are bent and form upper bent portions on the upper ends, and which which are coupled to each other on the upper bent portions by means of welding and have support portions, provided on both lower ends of each lower frame, come in contact with a floor surface; and a pair of upper frames of which the central parts are bent and form lower bent portions on the lower ends, of which the lower ends are coupled to the lower inner sides of the upper bent portions by means of welding, and which are coupled to each other on the lower bent portions by means of welding and have insertion portions, provided on both upper ends, connected to a seat. The present invention can be folded into a compact size and stored, thereby showing excellent portability, has a simple structure, can easily be manufactured, and has excellent durability which enables sufficient supporting of the weight of a user by having strong adhesiveness due to the disposing and coupling of frames by means of welding.

Abstract

A collapsible chair according to the present invention comprises an upper tube, a leg tube, a central tube connector, and a sheet. The upper tube is formed from a detachable section. The lower end of the upper tube is inserted into a hole in the central tube connector, and the upper end of the leg tube is inserted into a lower hole in the central tube connector. The upper end of the upper tube is fitted into a tube receptacle of a seatback. The remaining part of the upper tube, except for the upper end and the bottom end of the upper tube, does not come into contact with any part of the collapsible chair. An upper hole of the central tube connector is disposed on an upper body which rotates on a lower body having the lower hole formed thereon. The upper tube passes through the upper body and the lower body, but rotates around a cylinder which does not extend upward or downward from the central tube connector. The collapsible chair according to the present invention is compact, lightweight, and strong, and is appropriate to be stably used on an uneven outdoor ground surface during camping, hiking, fishing, outdoor concerts or sports events.
