A CUTTING STATION OF A CARDBOARD SHEET FROM A CONTINUOUS STRIP OF CARDBOARD AND A MACHINE FOR PACKING AN ARTICLE INTERNALLY OF A CARDBOARD BOX OBTAINED FROM THE CARDBOARD SHEET
The cutting station (S1) carries out a cutting of a cardboard sheet (F) from a continuous strip of cardboard (S), which continuous strip of cardboard (S) is unwound from a fanfold. The cutting station (S1) comprises: a conveyor plane (1), for advancing the strip of cardboard (S); conveying means (2), for advancing the continuous strip of cardboard (S) along the conveyor plane (1) and for halting the continuous strip of cardboard (S) for enabling cutting thereof; a cutting group (3), predisposed above the conveyor plane (1), and comprising a first rotary circular blade (31) and a toothed second rotary circular blade (32). The cutting group (3) is mounted above the conveyor plane (1) so as to be movable in alternating translation transversally to the conveyor plane (1). The first rotary circular blade (32) is mounted so that the cutting profile thereof passes beyond the conveyor plane (1) at a transversal channel (33), so as to be able to cut the continuous strip of cardboard (S) and obtain a cardboard sheet (F), the toothed second rotary circular blade (32) is mounted so that the cutting profile thereof contacts the continuous strip of cardboard (S) without passing beyond it so as to realise thereon a transversal score line (T4).
The folding station (S3) for folding a cardboard sheet (C) comprises an inlet (IN) and an outlet (OUT) and is predisposed to receive at the inlet (IN) thereof a cardboard blank (C) having two transversal edges (B1, B2) and two longitudinal edges (BL), and which is such as to comprise two longitudinal score lines (L1, L2), and four transversal score lines (T1, T2, T3, T4), the two longitudinal score lines (L1, L2) defining, in the cardboard blank (C), a central sector (SC), between the two longitudinal score lines (L1, L2), and two lateral sectors (SL1, SL2) externally of the two longitudinal folding lines (SL1, SL2), and cuts (11, I2, I3, I4) in the two lateral sectors (SL1, SL2) defining a series of flaps. The folding station (S3) further comprises a conveyor (4) for transporting the cardboard blank (C) in an advancement direction (V) up to halting it in a given position (Z); a first folding bar (61) located by a flank of a first side of the conveyor (4) at the position (Z), and a second folding bar (62) located by a flank of a second side of the conveyor (4) at the position (Z). The first folding bar (61) and the second folding bar (62) are activatable in rotation so as to fold the flaps present in the two lateral sectors (SL1, SL2) on the relative portions of the central sector (SC) of the cardboard blank (C).

The cutting station (S2) for realising transversal cuts in a cardboard sheet (F) comprises an inlet (IN) and an outlet (OUT) and is predisposed to receive at the inlet (IN) thereof a cardboard sheet (F) having two transversal edges (B1, B2) and two longitudinal edges (BL), and is such as to comprise two longitudinal score lines (L1, L2), and four transversal score lines (T1, T2, T3, T4), the two longitudinal score lines (L1, L2) defining, in the cardboard sheet (SC), a central sector (SC), between the two longitudinal score lines ((L1, L2), and two lateral sectors (SL1, SL2) externally of the two longitudinal folding lines (SL1.SL2). The cutting station (S2) further comprises: a conveyor (4) which extends from the inlet (IN) to the outlet (OUT) for restingly receiving the cardboard sheet (F) and for conveying the cardboard sheet (F) in an advancement direction (V); and, for each, and by a flank of each, of the two sides of the conveyor (4), a first cutting group (41) and a second cutting group (42), which are predisposed and configured for realising transversal cuts on a relative lateral sector (SL1, SL2) of each of the two lateral sectors (SL1, SL2) of the cardboard sheet (F) at the transversal score lines (T1, T2, T3, T4).

A METHOD FOR REALISING CARTONS FOR PACKING AND AN APPARATUS ACTUATING THE METHOD
The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for realising cartons for packing. The method comprises following steps: feeding a cardboard band (2) for packing along an advancement direction (A) which is parallel to the development direction of the cardboard band (2); making a first score line (11) and a second score line (12) on the cardboard band (2), so as: to identify a central sector; a first lateral sector (4); and a second lateral sector (5); identify regions of band (8) on the carton (2); to make on each region of band (8) at least a first cut (21), a second cut (22), a third cut (23) and a fourth cut (24) made transversally so that: a first closing wing (49), a first reinforcing wing (51) a second reinforcing wing (52), a second closing wing (50), a third reinforcing wing (53) and a fourth reinforcing wing (54) are identified; cut the the band of carton (2) transversally so as to separate the regions of band (8) from one another, thus obtaining cartons (1) for packing.
