Abstract
The present invention relates to a fire suppression arrangement (8) for suppressing a fire in a battery pack, such as a lithium-ion battery pack (7), said arrangement (8) comprising said battery pack (7), and a thermal management system (5) comprising a liquid circuit (13) for circulating a liquid to control the temperature of said battery pack (7). The liquid circuit (13) comprises at least one opening (25) which is closed by a sealing member (35) comprising a fusible portion (43), wherein said fusible portion (43) is configured to melt when exposed to a temperature above a predetermined activation temperature, thereby allowing liquid to be discharged from said liquid circuit (13) through said opening (25) to cool a portion of said battery pack (7) in the event of an abnormal temperature rise near said opening (25).

Abstract
The present invention relates to a fire extinguishing system comprising a pressurized detection conduit (115), an extinguishing line (108) separate from the detection conduit (115), and a control module (105) adapted for sensing a pressure drop in the detection conduit (115) and for opening supply of extinguishing medium from a storage (103) to the extinguishing line (108). The detection conduit (115) is gas-permeable and filled with a detection liquid. The fire extinguishing system further comprises a liquid-gas interface (117) fluidly connecting the detection conduit (115) to a pressurized gas source (103, 106), wherein the liquid-gas interface (117) comprises an interface container (123) defining a gas space (131) which communicates with the pressurized gas source (106) and a liquid space (133) which communicates with the detection conduit (115).

Abstract
The present invention relates to a fire detection system arranged for detecting fire by detecting a pressure drop in a detection conduit (15) caused by rupture of the detection conduit (15). The system comprises a detection fluid container (13) for holding a pressurized detection fluid, the detection conduit (15) which is connected to the detection fluid container (13), and a valve assembly controlling the supply of detection fluid from the detection fluid container (13) to the detection conduit (15). The valve assembly (17) is configured to assume: i) an open operating state, in which the valve assembly (17) permits fluid communication between the detection fluid container (13) and the detection conduit (15), wherein the valve assembly (17) comprises a holding member (41 a) upon which a pressure force exerted by pressurized fluid in the detection conduit (15) acts to maintain the valve assembly (17) in the open operating position, and ii) a closed state, in which the valve assembly (17) prevents fluid communication between the detection fluid container (13) and the detection conduit (15), wherein the valve assembly (17) is arranged for switching from the open operating state to the closed state upon a reduction of the pressure force exerted on the holding member (41 a) caused by said pressure drop in the detection conduit (15), such that outflow of detection fluid is stopped. The present invention also relates to a method of controlling such as fire detection system.
