Abstract

The present invention relates to a pusher mechanism comprising a column (1) capable of being subjected to a compressive force or a pulling force when in use and having a height (H) defining a first direction, a width (l) and a thickness (E), the thickness (E) being constant, the height (H) being variable, when in use, between a quiescent value (H0) and a maximum value (HM) and the width (l) being variable, when in use, between a quiescent value (l0) and a minimum value (lin), the column comprising two vertical members (2, 3) facing each other and extending along the height (H) and the thickness (E), and reversible means (6) supported by the vertical members and designed to transform a compressive force exerted on the vertical members along the width (l) of the column into a movement along the first direction of the column, the width (l) of which subsequently decreases (lH0), and vice versa.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method and to a device for implementing the method for tensioning an inextensible or substantially inextensible longitudinal strap (12) comprising a distal end portion (15) and a proximal end portion (11), each end portion being respectively fixed to a corresponding attachment point (13, 16). The method is characterized in that a cycle (2) of successive transverse pressure applications is exerted on the strap (12), comprising a first transverse pressure application (23) on a first portion (20) of the strap, then a second (24) and a third (25) transverse pressure application on a second (21) and a third (22) portion of the strap, respectively.

Abstract

The invention relates to an articulated arm having a first member connected to a second member by a hinge pivoting about an axis, said articulated arm being motor-driven by a motor-drive assembly comprising: - at least one first motor device and one second motor device; - at least one inextensible tension belt connecting the first and second members; - each motor device having at least two pushing means configured to exert a transverse push on the tension belt; and - a control member capable of operating the pushing means according to a sequence that includes at least the application of a transverse pushing force to the tension belt leading to a deformation and an increase in the tension of said belt, supported by the first motor device, and at least the application of a transverse pushing force producing a deformation and an increase in the tension of the inextensible belt supported by the second motor device; the deformations accompanied by successive increases in tension allow the second member to pivot about the hinge axis.
