Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing food and drugs with reduced allergen content and/or reduced bacteria content. According to said method, gaseous and/or solid carbon dioxide is left to act on the food or the drugs in a closed container at a pressure of gaseous carbon dioxide from 1.0 bar and a temperature of -80°C to +50°C or at a temperature of -78.5°C and an equilibrium pressure of gaseous carbon dioxide of 1.013 bar.
