Methods are provided of three dimensionally synthetizing a digital audio signal depending on spatial commands and filter instructions. Abstract

The device for preparing sheet specimens comprises a base (1) for placing on it a sheet specimen (2) and a cutting punch (3) for cutting sheared cracks or sharp notches in said sheet specimen (2). Preferably, said cutting punch (3) comprises a beveled lower end (31) and/or a central vertical groove (32). Permits the cracks to be formed cutting directly the sheet, and not by cyclic loading, so that the preparation of the sheet specimen takes a reduced time in comparison with the conventional devices.

Abstract

A 3D printing method for manufacturing a 3D tubular object includes creating successive layers of polymerized resin. Each layer is created by providing, on an external surface of a build platform, a fluid resin which is polymerizable by electromagnetic radiation. A beam of electromagnetic radiation suitable for polymerizing the fluid resin is positioned, according to a printing model, towards the external surface of the build platform, creating the layer of polymerized resin. The build platform includes a stem having a longitudinal axis, and forming a tubular shaped surface around the longitudinal axis, so that the external surface of the build platform is included in the tubular shaped surface. The beam is variably positioned according to the printing model to impinge on different points of the fluid resin. The 3D tubular object is obtained by removing from the stem a 3D object formed by the successive layers of polymerized resin.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a reverse osmosis water treatment system comprising: a second- stage LSRRO (Low Salt Rejection RO membrane process) unit using a regenerated membrane as a reverse osmosis (RO) membrane, said regenerated membrane being obtained by subjecting a damaged membrane or a membrane which has reached the end of its service life to a physical and/or chemical treatment for reuse. The present invention comprises: an intake unit including an inlet line for seawater or organic wastewater equipped with an inlet valve, a raw water storage tank for storing the seawater or organic wastewater as raw water, and a feed pump for pressurizing the raw water at a predetermined flow rate and pressure at predetermined intervals; a pre-treatment unit including an ultrafiltration (UF) membrane or microfiltration (MF) membrane for removing fine particulate organic matter contained in the raw water to reduce the load on a downstream reverse osmosis (RO) membrane; and a first-stage RO (Reverse Osmosis) process unit to separate ionic substances included in the filtered water pre-treated by the UF or MF membrane using a reverse osmosis membrane to produce treated water and to separate the raw water into treated water and concentrated water. According to the present invention, there is an advantage in that an LSRRO system can be provided which concentrates raw water to a high concentration with lower energy consumption than conventional RO systems employing commercial membranes.

The system comprises several monitoring sensors to be attached to different body areas of a person to obtain biomechanical and/or physiological variables thereof according to a specified sensor configuration; a memory or database, having stored therein at least one of: control biomechanical and/or physiological variables and pathology biomechanical and/or physiological variables obtained. The variables being stored classified in three different categories: cardiac, kinematics and plantar-pressure. A processing unit generating a normality model; getting biomechanical and/or physiological variables from a given user, classifying them into the three different categories, and selecting, for each category, those that are significant; computing, for the selected variables of the given user, a unified category score for each category; and computing a condition or disorder score as the deviation between the computed unified category scores with the generated normality model.

The system comprises several monitoring sensors to be attached to different body areas of a person to obtain biomechanical and/or physiological variables thereof according to a specified sensor configuration; a memory or database, having stored therein at least one of: control biomechanical and/or physiological variables and pathology biomechanical and/or physiological variables obtained. Abstract

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a part made from composite material, having a body (600) and one or more continuous fibre bundles (208) in its interior, characterised in that it comprises the stages of: a) obtaining a body (600) that includes one or more tubular cavities (604) in its interior that extend between a first end, disposed on the outer surface of the body and which comprises an inlet orifice, and a second end, opposite to the first end; b) introducing resin (301) in the liquid state and a continuous fibre bundle in the interior of at least one tubular cavity through its inlet orifice; and c) curing the resin until it solidifies, adhering to the body and fixing the continuous fibre bundle.
