Abstract

The present invention relates to the ligation performance that accompanies the structure of a surgical ligation clip for temporarily or permanently ligating tissue, such as blood vessels, during a surgical operation, thereby preventing bodily fluids such as blood from leaking, wherein the ligation clip uses the intentional deforming property of a polymer material. The ligation clip is a polymer ligation clip in which a female leg protrudes upward, and a male leg protrudes upward to correspond to the female leg, wherein the respective rear ends of the female and male legs are connected by a hinge. A blood vessel placed between the female leg and the male leg is ligated as a female head and a male head provided on the tips of the legs, respectively, are fastened by elasticity and recovery. The hinge is composed of an inner hinge part and an outer hinge part with a slit therebetween. A protrusion part on the outer hinge part serves as a pressing means for deformation folding when the inner hinge part collinear with an inner blood vessel contact surface of the ligation clip deforms in the slit space during ligation.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a dielectric ceramic material for a resonator, a filter, and an oscillator used in a wireless communication system. In particular, provided is a Ba(Mg0.5W0.5)O3-based high frequency dielectric ceramic material having an appropriate dielectric constant and a high quality factor in a high frequency band, and a method for producing the same. For this purpose, in the present invention, Ba(Mg0.5W0.5)O3 was selected as a material with good high frequency dielectric properties wherein barium (Ba) is partly substituted with an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal element, and to compensate for the same, a +3-valent metal element is quantitatively added to the magnesium (Mg) site. Thus, a high frequency dielectric ceramic material composition with a high quality factor and a stable temperature characteristic is produced. A +5-valent metal element may be quantitatively added to tungsten (W) as needed. According to the present invention as described above, a high frequency dielectric ceramic material is expected to have the effects of having a more suitable dielectric constant, excellent temperature characteristics, and a high quality factor.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a high-efficiency continuous power generation cycle apparatus using a magnetic fluid in which permanent magnets and coils of a power generating unit are arranged in series. More specifically, provided is an apparatus comprising: a magnetic fluid which is magnetic nanoparticles; a circulation pipe through which the magnetic fluid passes and circulates; and an induction power generating unit including a plurality of permanent magnets which are arranged at predetermined intervals along a longitudinal direction of the circulation pipe so as to surround an outer side of the circulation pipe, and a plurality of coils which are arranged between the permanent magnets along a longitudinal direction of the circulation pipe so as to surround the outer side of the circulation pipe. According to the present invention, the generating coils and the permanent magnets are disposed in series along the longitudinal direction of the circulation pipe so that an inner diameter of the permanent magnets is reduced, thereby improving spatial efficiency. Furthermore, the plurality of coils having various diameters are stacked along the longitudinal direction of the circulation pipe so that a power generation voltage that is offset by a pattern having various lengths of non-magnetic material such as air bubbles is supplemented to further increase the power generation voltage, thereby increasing the power generation efficiency.

Abstract

The present invention aims to provide an apparatus for asymmetric processing and a method for asymmetric processing using same for enhancing material properties, such as moldability, by controlling the texture of a base material. According to one aspect of the present invention, an extruded material is pushed through a dice having asymmetric extrusion holes with respect to a flat surface direction of the extruded material, so that the extruded material is extruded by inducing shearing deformation on the inside of the extruded material in the widthwise direction thereof, thereby forming the extruded material. Using the extruded material as a rolled material, a rolled material is pushed through between first rolls and second rolls having different diameters, so that the rolled material is rolled by inducing shearing deformation on the rolled material force, thereby forming the rolled material.

Abstract

The aim of the present invention is to improve the physical properties of materials, such as the formability or the like of a metal strip being casted, by enabling each of two rolls forming a pair to have different cooling conditions in a twin-roll strip-casting method. According to one aspect of the present invention, provided is a strip-casting apparatus comprising: a pair of cooling rolls arranged in parallel with a predetermined spacing therebetween for receiving molten metal being injected, wherein the pair of cooling rolls includes a first roll that rotates in a first direction so as to cool the molten metal being injected into said spacing; and a second roll that rotates in a second direction opposite the first direction so as to cool the molten metal being injected into said spacing in a cooling condition that is different than that of the first roll.

Abstract

A method for calculating a log-likelihood ratio and a demodulation device are provided. The demodulation device for receiving and then demodulating a radio signal comprises: a constellation storage part, which stores constellation points arranged in a triangular form and modulation symbols matching the constellation points; a transformation part, which extracts a received symbol from the radio signal; and a log-likelihood ratio calculation part, which performs exponential operations on a difference between the received symbol and each of the modulation symbols, classifies the exponential operated values into groups, depending on whether a k-th bit of the modulation symbol is 1 or 0, calculates the sum of exponential operated values by group and then calculates a log-likelihood ratio using the sum for each group, wherein the k is at least 1 and a natural number not greater than the number of bits of the modulation symbol. The present invention is advantageous in that it provides the method and device for calculating a log-likelihood ratio in a quadrature amplitude modulation system using a triangular constellation.

Abstract

Provided are a double linked wireless sensor network capable of performing bidirectional communication and a method of transmitting and receiving data. In each of nodes constituting the wireless sensor network, an active duration and an inactive duration are alternately repeated, and the active duration is configured to include an upstream duration, an intermission duration, and a downstream duration. Each of the downstream duration and the upstream duration is configured to sequentially include a second receive slot, a second receive processing slot, a first receive slot, a first receive processing slot, a transmit slot, a transmit processing slot, a first acknowledge slot, a first acknowledge processing slot, a second acknowledge slot, and a second acknowledge processing slot, and wherein bidirectional communication can be performed between the sink node and the terminal node in a single period of the active duration. In the wireless sensor network, a transmit processing duration TXP is maintained in a receiving mode capable of receiving data from other nodes, so that a new node can be easily joined as a terminal node or an intermediate node. In addition, in the wireless sensor network, each of the upstream duration and the downstream duration is provided with consecutive two receiving durations, so that, although links to consecutive two nodes are disconnected, it is possible to simply recover the links.

Abstract

A communication method for a mobile sensor node in a wireless sensor network includes: in a state that the mobile sensor node performs synchronization by a message reception interrupt from a parent sensor node and determines an uplink active duration and a downlink active duration, transmitting a message to the parent sensor node in the transmitting duration of the uplink active duration, receiving and processing messages from the parent sensor node and sensor nodes linearly connected around the parent sensor node in the receiving duration of the uplink active duration, and resetting a new parent sensor node using the received signal strength indications RSSIs of the received messages; and transmitting a message to the parent sensor node in the transmitting duration of the downlink active duration, checking whether or not a message is received from the parent sensor node in the receiving duration of the downlink active duration, if the message is not received from the parent sensor node, determining that time synchronization fails and resetting a new parent sensor node, and if the message is received from the parent sensor node, performing time synchronization according to a message reception interrupt from the parent sensor node.
