Abstract

A door latch device which allows shared use of a connector for use in door latch devices equipped with standard electric components and a connector for use in door latch devices equipped with special electric components in addition to the standard electric components, thereby achieving an increase in the efficiency of the work of connecting to an external connector and a reduction in costs. A connector (32) of a standard switch plate (26) has a coupling hole (51) which penetrates, in the connecting direction of the external connector, a portion having no standard connecting terminals (304). The coupling hole (51) can be fitted with another switch plate (46) that allows the passage of electric current through electric components different than the standard electric components.

Abstract

A vehicle door latch device comprises an outside lever, a locking lever, a holding member, an opening link and a spring. The spring applies an urging force, smaller than an elastic holding force of the holding member in an unlocking direction, to the opening link. A coil is held in a holding recess of a rotation central portion of the opening link. The first arm engages with the outside lever, and the second arm engages with the opening link. If a panic state occurs, the locking lever can rotate to an unlock position, and the opening link returns to an initial position before a releasing action and is moved to the unlock position by the urging force of the spring.

The door latch device comprises a latch that is pivotally mounted via a first shaft to engage with a striker; a pawl that can hold the latch in a full-latch or a half-latch position; a memory lever pivotally mounted via a third shaft not to overlap the latch or the pawl, the memory lever enables holding the pawl in a release position without the full-latch position or half-latch position when the pawl rotates in a releasing direction from the full-latch position; and a releasing portion enabling the pawl to rotate from the release position to the half-latch or full-latch position when the latch rotates from the full-latch position toward an open position to be in between the half-latch position and the open position.

Abstract

In order to reduce the number of exclusive components, a vehicle door-locking device 1 is configured to be provided with a locking/unlocking unit 7 that includes a locking/unlocking mechanism for switching whether or not a door-opening operation on a door is transmitted to a latch mechanism, and a transmission means 3 for transmitting a locking/unlocking operation performed with a key to the locking/unlocking unit. The locking/unlocking unit has: a main case 2 for accommodating the locking/unlocking mechanism and supporting the latch mechanism; an input member 6 that has a rotating shaft 6a passing through the main case, the input member being linked with the locking/unlocking mechanism inside the main case, and having an external linking part 6b outside the main case; and a cover for covering the opening of the main case. The transmission means has a first linking member 35 for linking the external linking part and a rotation-receiving member 34 that rotates integrally with a rotor of a key cylinder. The external linking part protrudes from the main case toward the vehicle exterior once the main case has been attached to the door.

Abstract

Provided is a door latch device that can prevent a bending load from acting on a support shaft for a child safety lock lever and allow the child safety lock lever to operate smoothly. A child safety lock mechanism 35 can switch between a child safety lock unlocked state that allows a door opening operation with an inside handle to be transmitted to a meshing mechanism, and a child safety lock locked state that does not allow the transmission. A child safety lock lever 41 in the lock mechanism is pivotably supported by a support shaft 40 that extends in the interior-exterior direction of a vehicle in a casing 7 and a manual operation unit 412 formed on one end of the lever in the longitudinal direction perpendicular to the support shaft 40 projects toward the rear through a cover plate 11.

Abstract

Provided is a vehicle door latching device wherein a panic state can be canceled by way of a simple configuration. A spring 33 applies a biasing force that is smaller than the elastic retention force of a retention member 31 on an open link 23 in the unlock direction. A coil part 33a is accommodated in an accommodating recessed part 234 provided in a rotational center portion 230 of the open link 23, one arm part 33b is latched with an outside lever 27, and the other arm part 33c is latched with the open link 23. When a panic state occurs, a lock lever 21 can move to an unlock position, and the open link 23 can move to an unlock position with the biasing force of the spring 33 by way of returning to the default position before the release operation.

Abstract

A power drive unit system includes a vehicle door, a slide member, a motor, first and second cable guide members, first and second cables, an external spool, a door inner panel and one guide track. The internal spool unit includes an internal spool. The motor operatively communicates with the internal spool. The first cable guide member is associated with a first cable and the external spool. The first cable is attached to the internal spool and the external spool. The second cable guide member is associated with a second cable and the external spool. The second cable is attached to the internal cable spool the external spool, which in turn communicates with an output gear. The motor actuates the internal cable spool to pull the second cable, thereby causing rotation of the external spool and the drive shaft. The rotation of the drive shaft results in rotation of the door relative to the body; after which the door slides open.
