Abstract

The invention relates to a press for the mechanical comminution of foodstuffs, comprising an interchangeable container which can be inserted into a receiving container, a ram being guided in the interchangeable container in a sealed manner. The interchangeable container has a base provided with openings through which mash is forced from the interchangeable container. The first force applied via a press lever acts upon the ram as a second force which is directed perpendicular to the base of the interchangeable container by means of a bent lever, said bent lever having a first lever arm and a second lever arm which is bent relative thereto, the first lever arm being pivotally mounted in a first fulcrum on a contact piece that laterally projects from the receiving container and the second lever arm being connected to the ram via a first articulation point. The bent lever further comprises a pin which is permanently fixed to the bent lever in a second articulation point and is guided in guide slots in the press lever, thereby transmitting force."

Abstract

The invention relates to a device for spirally cutting material (G) resistant to cutting, such as fruit or vegetables, comprising at least one main body (2, 3), which is formed as a conical open funnel with a funnel rim (9) and in the lateral surface (5) of which there is arranged at least one cutting device formed by a cutting gap (6) and a cutting blade (7), wherein a residue retainer (11) comprising a cover ring (12) and a punch (13) can be rotatably mounted on the funnel rim (9) of the funnel opening, and the punch (13) is guided in such a way that with it residues of the material (G) can be pushed further into the main body (2, 3) and cut.
