Abstract

The invention relates to a connection device for connecting an extremity to a torso of a mannequin, comprising a shoulder part (10) and an arm part (36; 60). The arm part (36; 60) or the shoulder part (10) has a retaining device (50) which projects outwards. The shoulder part (10) or the arm part (36; 60) has a retaining opening (24) through which the retaining device (50) can be inserted. The retaining opening (24) has an upper portion with a larger width and a lower portion (26) with a smaller width. The shoulder part (10) or the arm part (36; 60) has a hollow receiving area (28) which is a number of centimeters long and projects inwards. The connection device is suitable in particular for optionally using lightweight plastic arms and heavy wooden arms on a mannequin.
