Abstract
A support head comprises a first body (2) including a pin (7) extended along a first axis (Y) of rotation, a second body (3) coupled in a rotary manner to the pin of first body, a third body (4) traversed by a second axis (X) of rotation substantially perpendicular to the first axis and coupled in a rotary manner to the second body and locking means (30) able to lock, by a single movement of a control member (31), both the rotation of the first and second bodies and of the second and third bodies. The locking means comprise a first restraining member (32) able to lock the rotation of the first body with respect to the second body, a second restraining member (40) able to lock the rotation of the second body with respect to the third body, and an actuator member (50) interposed between the control member (31) and the first restraining member (32) and able to command the first restraining member to lock the first and second bodies. The actuator member is further connected to the second restraining member so that the action on the first restraining member causes a reaction on the second restraining member to lock the second and third bodies. The first body is coupled with the second body at the location of the pin (7) and at the location of a widened portion (8) defined on the first body, so that when the first body is displaced against the second body, the first body is encountered by the second body at both the location of the pin and the widened portion.

Abstract
An adjustable support head (1) for optical or video/photographic equipment, comprising a joint (5) including a first (3) and a second joint element (18), a body (3) defining the said first joint element, a connection plate (4) for the optical or video/photographic equipment, connected to the said second joint element, so as to enable the said connection plate to be freely adjustable in relation to the said body, locking means (25) mounted on the said body and including a clamping element (26) that can be selectively moved between a first non-operating position in which the clamping element is distanced from the second joint element and a second operating position in which the clamping element is in contact with the second joint element so as to lock the said second joint element in a desired position in relation to the first joint element. The head (1) also comprising adjustable friction means (35) mounted on the body and including at least one slide (36) placed in contact with the second joint element so as to adjust the sliding of the second joint element in relation to the first joint element. The friction means comprise resilient means (37) interposed between the clamping element and the slide to adjust the friction means by moving the clamping element between the first non- operating position and the second operating position.

Abstract
A tripod support (1) for video-photographic equipment comprises a crosspiece (2) with a tube (26), a column (3) with a shaft sliding inside the tube of the crosspiece, the column having a plate (7) arranged to be fitted at one end of the shaft (8) and an end plug (9) arranged to be fitted at the axially opposite end of the shaft as well as removable fixing means between the plate and shaft (6,18) and between the shaft and plug (19,23) respectively to remove the plate and plug from the shaft and the shaft from the tube. The fixing means onto the plate and onto the plug are mutually connectable, as an alternative to being connected to the shaft, to directly fix the plate and the plug to the opposite ends of the tube of the crosspiece when removed from the shaft.
