Abstract
In one embodiment, a network interface receives a communication request. A processor then verifies caller information in the communication request with a certification procedure. The processor obtains a first indicator based on the certification procedure. The first indicator includes information associated with a first certificate management procedure. The processor generates a second indicator based on the first indicator. The second indicator includes information associated with a second certificate management procedure.

Abstract
In one embodiment, a network interface is operable to receive a communication request over a communication link of a radio access network. A processor communicatively coupled to the network interface receives the communication request from a first networked device over a communication link of a radio access network via a first communication protocol. The communication request comprises caller information. The processor then verifies caller information and obtains an authenticator, associated with the caller information, that indicates the communication request is authorized to be routed to a second networked device. The second networked device is configured to receive communications via a second communication protocol.

Abstract
In one embodiment, a network interface receives a communication request over a communication link of a first network according to a first signaling protocol. A processor then verifies caller information in the communication request with a certification procedure. The processor converts the communication request to a second signaling protocol used in a second network. The processor transmits the converted communication request according to the second signaling protocol.

Abstract
In one embodiment, a network interface operable to receive a communication request over a communication link of a radio access network. A processor determines one or more characteristics based on the communication request and communicates a message to a networked device to determine a status of the network device identified based on at least one of the characteristics. The processor then terminates the communication request based in part on the status of the networked device.

Abstract
In one embodiment, a network interface receives a communication associated with a networked device over a communication link of a radio access network. A processor determines whether the communication is an emergency communication, and a memory stores location information of the networked device associated with the emergency communication. The network interface then receives, from a requesting user, a location request, wherein the location request identifies a requested networked device. The processor determines whether the identification of the requested networked device matches an identification of the networked device. When the identification of the requested networked device matches the identification of the networked device, the network interface further operable to communicate the location information of the networked device to the requesting user.

In one embodiment, a network interface operable to receive, from a requesting user, a request for routing information of a requested device. A processor determines location information associated with the requested device, and generates a temporary networked device identifier associated with a networked device identifier of the requested device and temporary location information associated with the location information.
