Abstract

A learning model generates a plurality of prototype vectors and generates an integrated similarity vector that indicates similarity between an input image and each prototype for a plurality of prototypes in accordance with similarity between one prototype vector and each pixel vector in a feature map acquired from an CNN. An image processing apparatus obtains prototype belongingness (distributed prototype belongingness) for each image by distributing prototype belongingness of a belonged prototype of each class to each of two or more images that belong to one class. Then, the learning model is subjected to machine learning in accordance with the distributed prototype belongingness of each prototype vector for each image so that each prototype vector is brought closer to any pixel vector in the feature map corresponding to each image.

Abstract

Provided is a technology with which the basis for image similarity can be explained on a conceptual basis. In this image processing device, a plurality of feature vectors (in a feature space) are acquired, said feature vectors being outputted from a trained model in response to the input of a plurality of input images to the trained model, and said trained model resulting from performing machine learning (step S21). A hierarchical plurality of clusters is generated by subjecting the plurality of feature vectors to hierarchical clustering processing (step S22). A partial space or vector corresponding to a specific cluster among the plurality of clusters is then extracted as a concept (concept expression) of the specific cluster (step S23).

Abstract

In order to improve efficiency of an operation of a cash handling system and reduce the labor required for the operation, a POS register receives an input of a cash-out amount, and an input of a charge amount. The POS register reads a debit card ID from a debit card, and transmits a settlement request including the debit card ID and a settlement amount to a management server. Upon receiving the settlement request, the management server withdraws the settlement amount from an account, and transmits a settlement permission to the POS register. Upon receiving the settlement permission from the management server, the POS register performs charge of electronic money, and transmits a dispensing instruction for the cash-out amount to a change machine. The change machine receives the dispensing instruction and dispenses cash.

In order to support transport of cash in different currencies of a plurality of countries, this cash transport system is configured to comprise: one or a plurality of cash processing devices for processing cash in a plurality of currencies, the one or plurality of cash processing devices being installed in a store; and a management device for assessing whether or not cash transport to the store to replenish the cash processing devices with cash is needed, and whether or not cash transport from the store to collect cash from the cash processing devices is needed. If it is assessed that cash transport is necessary, the management device calculates, on the basis of one currency preliminarily selected from among the plurality of currencies, a transport amount in which the amount of cash in each currency to be transported is converted into the amount of the selected currency and summed. If the transport amount exceeds a preliminarily set upper-limit amount, the management device issues a notification to a prescribed communication terminal.
