Abstract

A disclosed pulse generator is configured to detect a voltage waveform output to an electrified element. The pulse generator has a charge circuit, a fire control circuit, an output transformer, and an energizer processor. The charge circuit receives a voltage input from a power source. The fire control circuit receives an output voltage of the charge circuit. The output transformer transforms an output voltage of the fire control circuit into a higher voltage output and delivers the higher voltage output to an electrified element. The energizer processor receives instructions from a communications component, determines one or more waveform parameters based on the instructions, and controls the fire control circuit such that the output of the fire control circuit corresponds to the one or more waveform parameters.

Abstract

A monitor for an electrical control system has a pulse detection circuit configured to detect a voltage waveform output to an electrified element. The monitor also has a monitor processor. The monitor processor receives the voltage waveform from the pulse detection circuit, measures one or more parameters of the voltage waveform, receives additional information associated with the voltage waveform, compares the one or more parameters to the additional information, and performs an analysis process based on the comparison of the voltage waveform and the additional information. The monitor also has a communication interface configured to deliver a result of the analysis process to an interface component via one or more communication components connected to the monitor processor.

Abstract

An anchoring system for a fence attaches to a portion of the fence and secures the fence to a subsurface to anchor the fence and thereby inhibit unwanted movement of the fence due to winds or other outside forces. The anchoring system has a stand that forms a base and a rigid pole extending upwardly from the stand. A top connector removably attaches the rigid pole to a portion of the fence and at least one in-ground anchor secures the stand to a subsurface.

Abstract

A hinge is arranged to move two panels, such as a stationary fence panel and a gate, between an open position and a closed position. When the hinge is in a closed position, the posts to which the hinge is attached are maintained in substantial contact along substantially the entire longitudinal length of the posts, thereby preventing small animals from passing through the fence. The hinge has two hinge halves, each having a finger portion arranged to interlace with a finger portion of the other hinge half, each finger of the finger portions defining an opening, and an arcuate post-engaging portion extending for at least 90 degrees and defining a longitudinal opening for receiving an end post, wherein each longitudinal opening faces the other when the hinge is in a closed position. The hinge also has a hinge pin passing through and within the openings allowing rotation.
