The present application relates to a polyamide composition (P) comprising specific flat glass fibres (B) with elongated shape having a non-circular cross- sectional area. The polyamide composition (P) is advantageously used for the production of molded parts. The invention also relates to use of molded parts obtainable by molding of the polyamide composition (P) to produce mechanical parts.
