The temperature manipulating apparatus (400, 1202, 1302, 1503, 1901, 2001, 2500, 2601, 2900, 3001) includes a plurality of electricity conducting electrodes (402, 1402, 1602, 1702, 2102, 2502, 2902, 3102) which are disposed on the heat generating elements (401) and the base medium (2100, 2903, 3103). The temperature manipulating apparatus (400, 1202, 1302, 1503, 1901, 2001, 2500, 2601, 2900, 3001) may be supplied electricity from an electric power source via a connecting module. The plurality of heat generating elements (401) may be in form of one or more layers of electrically conductive elements disposed on the base medium (2100, 2903, 3103).
