Abstract

The connecting device (1) has at least one electrical conductor (2) comprising a metal wire (23) and an insulating sheath (21) and comprises a housing (4) for receiving the at least one electrical conductor (2) and having at least one opening (3). The connecting device has a busbar (5), a spring-force terminal (61) with a mouth (62) and a spring tongue (63) connected to this mouth (62). The electrical conductor (2) can be fixed in a self-locking manner in the mouth (62) between the spring tongue (63) and the busbar (5). The housing (4) has, as seen in the insertion direction (ER), a blade (7, 7') mounted in front of the busbar (5) and connected to a spring-action bearing (11). The blade (7, 7') removes the insulating sheath (21) before the electrical conductor (2) comes into contact with the busbar (5).

Abstract

A connecting device (1) for producing an electrical connection of at least one cable (3), in particular a single-conductor cable, sheathed by an insulating material (2), the device comprising a carrier (4), wherein: the carrier (4) has at least one opening (5) for inserting the at least one cable (3) in an insertion direction (ER), and at least one cutting device (6) with at least one cutting edge (7) having a longitudinal direction (L7), for producing the electrical connection between the at least one cable (3) and the carrier (4), the connecting device (1) having at least one pressing part (8) that is preferably movably mounted, for pressing the at least one cable (3) against the at least one cutting edge (7); while the at least one cable (3) is pressed against the at least one cutting edge (7), said at least one cable (3) and at least one cutting edge (7) can move relative to one another transversely to the insertion direction (ER); and the longitudinal direction (L7) of the at least one cutting edge (7) of the at least one cutting device (6) runs substantially parallel to the insertion direction (ER), when the at least one cable (3) and the carrier (4) are connected.
