Abstract

The present invention provides a railroad switch protecting system for safely protecting line switching by preventing snow accumulation and freezing of the railroad switch. A railroad switch protecting system according to an embodiment of the present invention blows strong wind in a plurality of protection ranges of a railroad switch, in which a point machine is installed, thereby forming an air curtain (block), such that, when snow falls, the snow does not accumulate in the protection ranges of the railroad switch; alternatively, the system blows strong winds and thereby removes the accumulated snow out of the protection ranges, melts the same, or prevents freezing such that the railroad switch is protected and thus can smoothly conduct the line switching operation.
