Abstract

Farm animal veterinary procedure clamp applicator pliers (200) comprising: a pair of jaws (202) connected about a pivot (216) located towards one end of the pair of jaws; a pair of lever handles (204); over-centre pivot hinge apparatus (206) connecting the pair of lever handles to the one end of the pair of jaws such that movement of the pair of lever handles between an open position and a closed position causes a corresponding movement of the pair of jaws between an open position and a closed position; and a spring (208) connected between the lever handles, the spring configured to return the lever handles, and thus the jaws, to a holding position between said open position and said closed position. A farm animal veterinary procedure clamp and farm animal castration and tail docking apparatus, comprising the clamp and the applicator pliers (200) are also provided.

Abstract

A key ring opener (10) is described. The opener (10) comprises a body (12) and a protruding portion (14) which extends from the body (12) to a leading edge (16). The protruding portion (14) has a first thickness. A neck portion (18) is defined between the body (12) and the protruding portion (14). The neck portion (18) has a width which is less than the width of the leading edge (16) and the body (12). The neck portion (18) also has a second thickness which is greater than the first thickness so as to define a key ring abutment surface (15) facing towards the leading edge (16).
