Abstract

According to the invention, the cable (1) for a power supply system includes a hollow central core (2) around which conductive elements (3) are stranded, the assembly of the strands consisting of the conductive elements (3) and the central core (2) being surrounded by an insulating sheath (4), said cable being characterized in that the central core (2) is capable of receiving a visual monitoring element, such as an endoscope, and the wall of said central core makes it possible to view the state of the inner surface of said strands consisting of the conductive elements (3).
