Abstract
Proposed is a method for producing an igniter socket (1) for pyrotechnical systems, comprising the following steps: an embossing step in which an outer contour of a main part (2) of the igniter socket (1) is embossed, forming a cylinder face (3) and a shoulder (4) adjoining the cylinder face (3), a generatrix line of the cylinder face (3) being parallel to the embossing direction; a shaving step in which at least the cylinder face (3) is shaved substantially along the generatrix line; and a punching step in which the shoulder (4) is removed.

Abstract
The invention relates to an igniter base (1) for an airbag igniter, comprising an electrically conductive main body (11), which has a glass feed-through opening (21) and a first pin (3) arranged in a glass body (22) in the glass feed-through opening (21) and a second pin (4) arranged in a passage opening (52), wherein the second pin (4) is connected to the main body (11) in an electrically conductive manner. It is proposed that the main body (11) comprises a centering device (6) for the second pin (4) in the passage opening (52), said centering device being integrally formed on the main body (11).

Abstract
The invention relates to a method for producing an igniter base (1) for pyrotechnic systems, in which a steel main body (2) is cold-worked thus undergoing structural transformations, a passage opening (3) is introduced into the steel main body (2), a first metal pin (4) and a glass material (5) that insulates the first metal pin (4) from the passage opening (3) are arranged in the passage opening (3), wherein the fusible assembly thus formed, comprising the steel main body (2), the glass material (5), and the first metal pin (4), is heated to a glass wetting temperature, and wherein a fusing time period for the heating of the fusible assembly is greater than the glass fusing duration and less than a structural reverse transformation duration.
