Abstract

In this system, a steam reforming device steam-reforms methane gas and steam to produce steam-reformed product gas with a 3:1 molar ratio of hydrogen gas to carbon monoxide gas. A distribution device distributes the steam-reformed product gas into a first steam-reformed product gas and a second steam-reformed product gas at a set ratio. A hydrogen separation device separates the second steam-reformed product gas supplied from the distribution device into hydrogen gas and hydrogen-separated gas. In a mixing device, the first steam-reformed product gas is supplied from the distribution device, the hydrogen-separated gas is supplied from the hydrogen separation device, and the gases are mixed to produce synthesis gas. The set ratio for distributing the steam-reformed product gas into the first and second steam-reformed product gases is set so that the molar ratio of hydrogen gas to carbon monoxide gas contained in the synthesis gas produced in the mixing device is approximately 2:1. In a gas turbine cogeneration device, the hydrogen gas separated by the hydrogen separation device is supplied to generate electricity and to generate steam to be supplied to the steam reforming device.

Abstract

This system comprises: a biomass power generation device 10; a carbon dioxide recovery device 25; a device 30 for generating carbon-neutral thermal energy; and an LNG vaporization device 41. The biomass power generation device 10 produces green power, and the carbon dioxide recovery device 25 recovers carbon dioxide generated through biomass power generation. The LNG vaporization device 41 performs heat exchange between stored carbon dioxide which is part of the recovered carbon dioxide and is to be isolated from the atmosphere, and a liquefied natural gas in which the amount of carbon dioxide generated by combustion is smaller by a prescribed ratio than the amount of the stored carbon dioxide, to thereby vaporize and deliver the liquefied natural gas into a carbon-neutral equivalent natural gas, and cool the stored carbon dioxide to a low temperature. Accordingly, it is possible to produce green power, produce carbon-neutral equivalent natural gas for which emission credits can be said to already have been acquired, and cool a stored carbon dioxide to a low temperature at low cost.

Abstract

This system is provided with a condensing turbine power generation device 10, a carbon dioxide gas recovery device 25, a methanation device 30, a synthetic gas production device 40, a liquid fuel synthesis device 50, and a heat transfer device 58. The carbon dioxide recovery device recovers a biomass-derived carbon dioxide gas generated via biomass power generation by the condensing turbine power generation device. The methanation device produces a carbon neutral methane gas from the recovered biomass-derived carbon dioxide gas and a low-carbon hydrogen gas. The synthetic gas production device produces a synthetic gas from the carbon neutral methane gas. The liquid fuel synthesis device synthesizes a liquid fuel crude oil from the synthetic gas. The heat transfer device transfers, to the carbon dioxide gas recovery device, reaction heat generated when the synthesis gas is synthesized into the liquid fuel crude oil in the liquid fuel synthesis device, and heats a CO2-containing absorbing liquid in a regeneration tower 27. Thus, green electric power and a liquid fuel crude oil can be produced in a carbon neutral state and with energy saving by systematically combining the established technologies.

Abstract

In the present invention, water vapor and natural gas, which is produced by vaporizing LNG, are subjected to a water vapor reforming reaction and a shift reaction in the presence of a catalyst, and such reactant becomes a mixed gas that includes hydrogen and carbon dioxide gas. The mixed gas is separated by a hydrogen separation device into hydrogen gas and an off gas, and the hydrogen gas is fed to a hydrogen-using device. The off gas is sent to a combustion furnace as fuel for the heating required for water vapor reforming and is subjected, with oxygen supplied from an oxygen supply device, to a combustion reaction. A combustion exhaust gas that includes carbon dioxide gas and water vapor, after being pre-cooled by a combustion exhaust gas pre-cooling device, is subjected to heat exchange of LNG cold energy with LNG in an LNG vaporization device, the LNG is vaporized into natural gas, the combustion exhaust gas is cooled, the water vapor is condensed and the water content thereof is discharged, resulting in a low-temperature recovered carbon dioxide gas. Due to this configuration, all of the carbon dioxide gas generated during hydrogen production is collected in the combustion exhaust gas arising from combustion of fuel in the combustion furnace of a water vapor reforming device, and the carbon dioxide gas is brought to a low temperature and collected, thus making it possible to reduce liquefaction power for the carbon dioxide gas.
