Abstract
The present invention relates to a glass composition, which has a refractive index obtained by using glass pieces, also known as glass cullet, as fluxes, and glass beads and specifically to: a glass bead composition which has a refractive index obtained by using glass pieces as fluxes, has high transparency, maintains high retroreflectivity even under a humid condition as well as a dry condition, and particularly has a higher refractive index (nd: 1.6-2.2) than glass beads which have a refractive index of approximately 1.5 and are produced using conventional recycled soda-lime-based coarse glass pieces; and glass beads having a refractive index obtained by using a coarse glass powder of the glass composition.
