Abstract
Disclosed are a perforated molded product of a gas producing agent and a preparation process therefor. The external shape of the perforated molded product of a gas producing agent is a cylinder. An internal portion of the cylinder has holes passing or not passing therethrough. The perforated molded product of a gas producing agent can achieve slowing of a regressive burning process, or achieve neutral burning or progressive burning for a period of time during the burning process; and thus achieves a near S-shaped pressure-time curve for the gas generator, wherein at an early stage, the pressure and the slope are low, the airbag suffers less impact and harm, and the airbag expands slowly; at a middle stage, the pressure rises rapidly, and the airbag fills quickly; and at a later stage, the pressure declines gently, thereby extending the maintenance duration of the airbag. The reduction in initial burning surface, the slowing of regressive burning, or the achievement of neutral burning or progressive burning, and a decrease of internal pressure inside the gas generator reduce the material cost and mass of the gas generator. The present invention adopts a compression molding process to prepare the perforated molded product of a gas producing agent by means of compression molding, such that the preparation process is simple, efficient, and easy to operate and control.

Abstract
The present invention relates to a porous gas-generating agent molded product and a preparation process therefor. The porous gas-generating agent molded product is a columnar body having a plurality of holes arranged in the height direction therein. The ratio of the height to the largest dimension of the cross-section of the columnar body is in a range of 0.3 to 1.8, and the ratio of the total area of the cross-section of a plurality of holes of the columnar body to the total area of the cross-section of the columnar body is in a range of 0.03 to 0.15. The combustion process of the compressed porous gas-generating agent can realize equal-area combustion or progressive combustion, or multiple stages of combustion in different conditions, and can adjust the P-t performance of a gas generator according to requirements, thereby reducing material costs of the gas generator and the quality of the generator. The compressed porous gas-generating agent is mainly used for gas generators for automobile airbag. The present invention uses a compression molding process, and for the first time realizes the use of compression molding to prepare a small porous gas-generating agent, making the preparation process simple, efficient, and easy to operate and control.
