Abstract

The invention relates to a retractable intelligent speed bump including a platform (12) which is transverse to the road (2) and can move vertically up and down actuated by a lifting mechanism disposed therebelow and connected by means of a transmission system (32) to an actuation system (33). The lifting mechanism includes: a bolt (28) disposed in the longitudinal direction of the platform (12), which, when actuated by the actuated system (33) via the transmission system (32), moves transversely to the road (2); and at least one wedge (26) secured externally to the bolt (28), the inclined face of said wedge being disposed longitudinally in the direction of the bolt (28) and coming into contact with the inclined face of at least one second wedge (24) secured inside the casing (8), such that the longitudinal movement of the bolt (28) is transformed into the vertical movement of the platform (12).
