Abstract

The drive device (15) has control elements (17, 18) that are driven autonomously, and independently of the weaving machine (2) in respect of driving, and separately or jointly, which control elements can be controlled differently.

Abstract
The invention relates to a coupling device (1) and to a coupling method for releasably connecting harness strings (2, 3). The coupling device (1) has bushing-like and bolt-like coupling elements (4, 5) which can be joined together, comprising a connection zone (6) and a releasable locking means (7) having locking elements (8, 9) and a bushing-like releasing means (12) which, in the coupling position, is accessible from outside, can be actuated manually, and is movably mounted on the bolt-like coupling element (5). A resiliently deflectable latch element (8) is arranged on the bushing-like coupling element (4), wherein during actuation the releasing means (12) acts on the locking element (8) to release and displace the locking element.

Abstract
The invention relates to a device and a method for shedding with a warp thread (5), said device (1) having a lifter (7) that is connected to a resilient spring element (9) and to the warp thread (5) and having a controllable actuator (11). The spring element (9) is non-rotatably clamped at both ends in mountings (13, 15) and is compressed at one side and axially by the actuator (11), forcing said element to flex and the lifter (7) to be oscillated by alternating flexural deformations of the spring element (9).
