Abstract

A method of making a composite tape for packaging foodstuffs, comprising the steps of predisposing a tape (2) of paper material, forming a succession of through apertures (5) on the paper tape (2) and steadily applying a coating (3) of transparent material at least partially transparent to the paper tape (2) in correspondence of each aperture (5) so as to fully cover said apertures (5). The method further comprises the step of forming one or more transpiration holes (F) on the paper tape (2) and/or on the transparent coating (3) to make the composite tape (1) permeable to the air.
